Information we collect
We collect information in a few ways.
When you visit the site
This site runs on Ghost and uses Ghost Stats for basic site analytics. Ghost Stats helps us understand general site activity, such as which pages are viewed and how the site is being used.
We also use Cloudflare for site delivery, performance, and security. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, device information, and request logs as part of delivering and protecting the site.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, or similar behavior-tracking analytics tools.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address so we can send you emails you asked to receive. Newsletter features are currently managed through Ghost.
You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter email.
When you contact us
The contact form is hosted through Carrd and may use hCaptcha for spam protection. When you submit the form, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, and message.
We use that information to read, route, and respond to your message. We may use email and administrative tools, including Zoho, to manage replies and related support or admin communication.
Please do not send confidential, sensitive, legal, medical, HR case-specific, or emergency information through the contact form.
When you use AI-assisted practice tools
Some LWCL tools may use Chipp.ai to help generate practice responses from the scenario or prompt you enter.
When you use one of these tools, your input may be processed by Chipp.ai and its AI providers to generate a response. Chipp.ai's own privacy practices are described here:
https://chipp.ai/blog/privacy/
LWCL sees tool entries as anonymous entries in its private Chipp dashboard. LWCL deletes Chipp dashboard entries every Monday as a standard practice. LWCL does not use tool entries to train AI.
Do not enter confidential, sensitive, identifying, legal, HR case-specific, medical, financial, or third-party personal information into these tools. Use fictional or non-identifying details.
When paid offerings become available
LWCL may offer paid kits, resources, memberships, or downloads in the future. When paid offerings are available, payment processing may be handled through Stripe or another payment provider. LWCL does not need or intend to store full payment card numbers.
Any payment provider will have its own privacy terms.
